Today we finished tracing our shapes and began working on our vector graphic compositions in Illustrator.

PROGRESS SHOT 1

PROGRESS SHOT 2

This was really fun playing around with our shapes and the Pantone colours. I had noticed that colours printed differently to what they look like on the screen but I hadn't realised their was a science and different colour systems to work with this.

RGB (Red, Green, Blue) for colour used on monitors and games.

CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) for colour that has been printed.

PMS (Pantone Matching System) which uses a swatch system to achieve accuracy in print colour.
